She earned her bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud Minnesota in 2000 and went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2004. She and her husband, whom she met in vet school, moved out east after graduation seeking a coastal climate to begin their careers. Dr. Amy has worked in this area since graduation and opened Lakewood Animal Hospital in October of 2011.  She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their owners. She treats cats and dogs of all ages and has a special interest in dentistry, feline medicine, and pain management.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

The Olsons have two small children, a cat named Monkey, and a family of fish. In her free time Dr. Olson loves to spend time with her family enjoying the beautiful Virginia outdoors.

Andrew Olson, DVM

When Callie isn't caring for the animals and ensuring our clients have a positive experience, she enjoys visiting historical sites, antique shopping, spending time with her animals, and visiting Lake Anna. She resides in Spotsylvania with her husband, Golden Retriever, Westie, Juliana pig, and chickens.
